What are your Store Hours?
We're available 8:00am-5:30pm CST Monday through Friday. There is also an automated phone system active 24 hours a day. Leave your name, number, vehicle information, and a brief description of how we can help you, and we'll return your call.
 
Some sites do not take phone calls. They say it enables them to keep their prices low. I have to e-mail them with questions, and then it takes 2-3 days to get an answer. What is your Phone Policy?

This is one of the major differences between us and some of the other parts sites. We do not make you choose between customer service and price. We realize that sometimes you need answers right away. Feel free to call us anytime (at the numbers listed below), and we'll be happy to talk with you. Whether you e-mail us or phone us, you will always pay the same low price and receive the same great service.

 

How long before I get an answer to the email or phone message I sent?

We respond to emails and phone messages as soon as possible and in the order they were received. Our standard response time is within 24 hours. Any correspondence we receive after hours on Fridays will be responded to on the following Monday. One of our representatives may contact you directly from their own email or direct phone line. Doing so allows us to better serve you with illustrations or information tailored to your parts needs. Please check to make sure your email response doesn't end up in a junk/spam folder.


Why haven't I received a response after the 24 hours?

We may be behind on inquiries and shipping quotes. Please know that we are doing our best and your patience is appreciated. MASS EMAILS WILL RESULT IN DELETION. A continuance of this practice will lead to banning.


What is a "VIN#" and where do I find it?
VIN is short for "Vehicle Identification Number". It is generally 17 digits long and can be found on a metal plate on the top of the dash pad on the drivers side of the vehicle, visible from the outside of the vehicle through the windshield. It is also found on your Vehicle Title, Registration and Insurance Documentation.
 
Why do you need my Vin#?
The Vin# is necessary in identifying the correct parts for a particular vehicle. With the Vin#, we can identify each and every Production Option for all vehicles produced beginning with the 1990 model year. Without the VIN number we cannot ensure the correct part is being shipped.

 

Do you sell genuine OEM parts?
All parts are guaranteed to be new and factory original. These are the same parts you would purchase from the dealer.

 
Do you have my part in stock?
In addition to our on-hand inventory, we work with a network of hundreds of parts warehouses across the country enabling us to fill and ship orders within 24 hours. In the unlikely event that a part has been placed on backorder or discontinued, we will do our best to find one for you as quickly as possible. Our site does not currently show real-time inventory. Please call for questions about availability.

 

Why is my order on hold?

It means we've run into a problem with your order. Part pricing, shipping, or availability changes have occured. We will contact you when this happens but sometimes our emails end up in you junk folder. Feel free to call or email us if you have any questions during any part of the process on your order. 

 

What do you mean by discontinued?

Discontinued means that GM stopped manufacturing this part. Sometimes we are able to acquire these parts for you through other vendors. This will require additional freight charges. They will be Originally Equipped Manufactured parts. We will let you know if we are unable to complete your order due to discontinued parts.

 

Some site will not warranty a defective part. Will you?

We can warranty your part for you. We will need a copy of your receipt, the VIN number, and the vehicle mileage. You will be responsible for the shipping. Any GM dealer can warranty the part with the same information. If they will not, we can provide the customer service number to GM to help you resolve the issue.

 

I ordered one part and received another?

If you provided your VIN number and the part(s) you ordered did not apply to the vehicle, we will send the correct one according to your vehicles option codes. You will be notified by email of any type of changes to your order. Also, some part numbers will superceed given a change in vendor.

 

Which is left and which is right?

Drivers side is always referred to as the left side. Passenger side will always be the right.

 

What do you mean “paint to match?”

This part will need to be painted to match you vehicles color. Body side trim moldings and mirrors are common types of paint to match parts. Most collision and exterior trim parts DO NOT come painted unless otherwise specified.

 

Do you sell factory radios, CD players, or instrument panel clusters?

Not at this time. Although they are listed on the catalog, most suppliers require a core charge exceeding $500.00. It is a lengthy process in reclaiming core charges. We believe it goes against a customer best interest to have that much money tied up for a core charge in todays economy.


Can I add to my order after it has been placed?
Yes, you can add to an order up until the time it is shipped and no longer in our possession.
 
Can I cancel an order after it has been placed?
Yes, you can cancel any order or part of any order up until the time it is shipped and no longer in our possession.
 
How long before my order ships?
In stock orders ship within 24-48 hours. We will notify you by email for any orders requiring more time.

 

The part I ordered does not weigh that much. Why does shipping seem so high?

There is a minimum charge for shipping regardless of how much it weighs. We've priced different shipping companies and all have a minimum rate. We recommend you order small items with larger items to save on shipping. Not all orders can benefit from our low prices.


Do you ship outside the United States?
No, at this time we ship only within the United States. Extra shipping charges will apply for orders going to Alaska or Hawaii.
 
Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
 
What method of shipping do you use?

Our preferred methods of shipping are Fed Ex Ground and R&L Carrier for large freight. They give excellent service, are extremely reliable and very reasonably priced.

 

How long does it take before I receive my order?

Ground shipment usually estimates between 3-4 business days. 2-Day guarantees it there in 2 business days. Saturday delivery is available upon request. Please request a quote as this service runs higher. 

 

What if my order is lost or delivered damaged?

We can file a claim for you. We require you to notify us within 15 days of the delivery date. You can also file yourself if you prefer. We are available for assistance if you need us.

 

Why does the FedEx website show "tracking number not found?"

Our end of day shipments don't upload until after 6:00pm Central Standard Time. Check again then. If you are still having trouble tracking your shipment, please call. We'll be happy to review it with you and update you on your order.


What if I need my part faster?

Virtually any method of shipment is available upon request. Just tell us your needs and we will try to accommodate them. We can ship parts via Next Day Air up until 3PM CST.

 

I selected Next Day shipping and handling charges and it reads TBD*. What does this mean?

It means TO BE DETERMINED. Next Day charges will depend on the exact dimensions of the part, along with the weight, and your address. This pricing requires extra attention to accurately quote you which is why it is not calculated at the time you checkout. You will still have the option to change your shipping preference when you are contacted.


Do you ship hazardous materials (Hazmat)?
At this time we do not ship hazardous materials (Hazmat) such as batteries, supplemental inflatable restraint modules (airbags), seat belt pretensioners, gas-charged cylinders, chemicals, etc.

 

What did we leave out?
As hard as we've tried to cover everything, I'm sure there is plenty we've left out. If there is something you need and don't see it here, just ask. We're always just a click away. We look forward to hearing from you.
